I Heart Faces - Joy
Anne Ruthmann is an amazing wedding photographer. She's got a huge heart, and an even bigger laugh! We've known eachother for a few years, and last year we went out to lunch one day. I grabbed this shot of her at our lunch table:
Emily and Ian are full of joy too -- I'd been working on my natural light posing and given them a little "assignment". Ian was to whisper into Emily's ear, and then Emily was to turn and whisper into Ian's ear. I got some excellent shots before the kids couldn't restrain themselves and the whole session dissolved into gales of giggles!
These two images have "joy" all over them -- even thinking back at the memories I get a huge silly grin on my face! So I'm entering them in this week's "I Heart Faces" contest -- hopefully my blog viewers will click the button above and visit all the other joyful faces too!

What great images! I love the spontaneous laughter of the first entry and the open mouth, wide eyed glee in the second is fabulous! (Also, a very good idea for getting some fun kid shots!)
Great timing on that first capture! A second earlier or later and you might have missed that perfect expression of joy. It's really good!
